CE marking

Compliance with European harmonised standards

CE
CE marking is a certification system of compliance with the Essential Requirements for products sold within the EEC, pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011, implemented in the domestic legal system by Decree-Law no. 130/2013 of 10 September. It overrides product certification and approval systems and represents an element of free movement of products on the European market.
Besides the CE marking, manufacturers issue a Declaration of Performance (DoP), available for all product users.
